Our team brings over 30 years of experience in the dental industry, combining extensive clinical and proprietary educational expertise that sets us apart from the competition.
Our team has dedicated much of their corporate careers to designing, developing, and launching dental assistant programs for major trade schools across the U.S. We specialize in understanding state requirements and navigating dental board regulations with unmatched expertise, offering a level of knowledge you won’t find anywhere else.
At Aspire, we provide curriculum specifically designed and tailored to meet your state’s requirements for entry-level dental assistant programs. When applicable, we also develop and submit curriculum for dental board approval for radiography and expanded functions. We’re happy to discuss these opportunities with you one-on-one, as each state has unique requirements.
At Aspire, we offer two pathways to support your journey in launching a dental assistant training program:
Option 1: The DIY Package
This is ideal for those who want to take the lead. We provide a 10- or 12-week entry-level dental assistant training curriculum that can be customized to meet your state’s dental board requirements. You'll also receive a state-specific program catalog and student enrollment agreement—everything you need to begin the licensing process on your own.
Option 2: The Full-Service Package
Prefer a more guided approach? We’ve got you covered. This package includes the full curriculum, catalog, and enrollment documents—plus we handle the licensing process with you. We don’t just do it for you; we work closely alongside you in strong collaboration to ensure everything is done right. Once you're licensed, it’s 100% your school—with no ongoing commitments to Aspire.
Great question—and the answer really depends on your state. When we meet via Zoom, Alicia will walk you through the specific requirements for your location.
In many states, we may need to submit a separate, approved curriculum to the state’s dental or radiology board. If your state allows this, then yes, we will absolutely support and submit the application on your behalf. Just keep in mind that this often involves two separate submissions—one for the dental assistant program and one for radiology—and again, this varies by state. For more advanced functions—such as newly approved hygiene duties for dental assistants or restorative skills—approval typically falls under the jurisdiction of CODA-accredited institutions, so those would not be eligible through Aspire. (That’s a longer conversation—and one Alicia is happy to dive into on our call!)
You can purchase our curriculum, which includes detailed syllabi with course objectives and outcomes. The course outline specifies what to cover during lecture and clinical lab time, along with hands-on tasks for students. Customizable PowerPoints are available.
It’s a common misconception that dental assistant programs need accreditation, but for dental practices, it’s unnecessary and nearly impossible. Accreditation applies to brick-and-mortar schools seeking federal aid. With my background in managing and reviewing accreditation, I can explain more when we meet. We’ll also cover your state’s dental board rules, as they vary.
The short answer is: it depends. Regulations and licensure requirements for training programs vary by state. It's important to pay attention to the language used in state regulations, especially terms like "private school" and "training provider." Navigating these rules can be tricky, but we’re here to guide you through your state's specific requirements and licensing process.
Most states have strict standards and timelines, so it’s crucial to comply. We offer two options:
While there are many options for running a dental assistant program, Aspire stands out because we've been in your shoes. As former dental assistants, faculty, and managers in the dental field, we bring years of experience. Our offering may be new, but our expertise is not. We created Aspire for two reasons: 1) We’ve seen dentists struggle to find qualified dental assistants, and 2) we’re passionate about dental assistant training. Having taught thousands of students, our focus is on their success and strengthening our communities, not misleading or misguiding.
We understand the financial commitment, but we’ve dedicated countless hours to building a comprehensive curriculum and online platform to solve two major challenges—materials and instructors. Our online lectures and resources are personally designed and taught by our President, Alicia, who is deeply committed to delivering a high-quality course.
State licensing and paperwork can be time-consuming and complex. Our goal is to take that burden off your shoulders so you can focus on patient care. We look forward to partnering and collaborating with you!
We encourage you to research other programs and see what’s out there—many offer attractive packages. What sets Aspire apart is our personalized approach. We’re not in the business of licensing. We don’t franchise, and we don’t require any monthly fees or long-term financial commitments. While some competitors may offer 100% revenue, they often retain partial ownership or control.
At Aspire, Alicia works with you one-on-one to guide you through the licensing process from start to finish. Once your school is approved, you have 100% ownership and autonomy—Aspire has no ongoing ties or influence over your business.
We also respect your investment by maintaining exclusivity: we will not license any other dental assistant programs within a 30-mile radius of your location. Your success matters to us, and our model is built around integrity, support, and long-term sustainability for every partner we work with.
With that being said, you may find that a franchise option best suits your needs. We just want to make sure you are fully aware of your commitments to an agreement you enter into with our competitors.
If you decide that tackling ownership of a school is not something you are interested in, but passive income sounds appealing then a partnership with us can be the next best thing!
Setting up a curriculum, obtaining licensing, forming an LLC, and finding an instructor can be overwhelming and costly. Then, there's the challenge of recruiting students, which also takes time and money. When you partner with us, we handle all licensing and approvals. The business name and program provider license remain under our ownership, and we also carry the necessary business insurance covering both the business and students. All we ask is to use your dental facilities and equipment—we’ll supply the consumables as well as x-ray sensors and laptops for student use.
What’s in it for you? You’ll earn 20% of the revenue per student at each cohort completion/graduation. Our average tuition ranges from $3,895 to $4,600.
At Aspire Dental Assistant Academy, we are dedicated to ensuring compliance with all state regulations and requirements before launching any program. The licensing process is built on strong collaboration with the practice owner to gather necessary documents, meet deadlines, and maintain compliance throughout the application process. In rare instances, a denial or deferral of licensing may occur if required materials are not submitted on time, deadlines are missed, or compliance standards are not fully met.
If the state does not approve the program, we will work closely with you to explore alternative solutions or make necessary adjustments. Our goal is to maintain transparent communication and proactive support to minimize potential disruptions and ensure a smooth process.
Please contact us at info@aspiredentalassistantacademy.com. We will setup a Zoom meeting with Alicia and Meetu to show you the course materials and discuss options.

All of Tier 1 PLUS:
Select tier 3 if you prefer Aspire to do the licensing. For some states, duties like radiography or applying sealants require additional state certification or licensing. To offer these courses, board approval may be necessary. If applicable, we’ll collaborate with your state to get courses approved, customize the curriculum, and submit it for approval. This positions you as a state-approved course provider. We’ll meet with you to discuss the process and the necessary requirements.
