At Aspire Dental Assistant Academy, you can complete online self-paced lectures and attend on-site classes during the day on Saturdays (9:00 AM–3:30 PM) or evenings (see location details below for evening hours). Choose the schedule that best fits your needs as you progress through our dental training program. The final schedule and location will be confirmed during your admissions meeting.

At Aspire Dental Assistant Academy, you will learn from experienced dental professionals who are dedicated to your success and passionate about teaching through our comprehensive dental training program.
📚 Program Format
The Aspire Dental Assistant Academy offers a comprehensive 12-week dental training program. All lectures, exams, and homework are online and self-paced, allowing you to learn at your convenience. You’ll watch pre-recorded weekly videos anytime during the week before attending your clinic class.
You will have the option to attend an all-day session on Saturday OR the evening sessions, but not both.
Day Class (both locations): Saturday clinic days run from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute break, and focus entirely on hands-on training with your instructor.
Evening clinic days are:

Tuesday AND Thursday 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
-> Burien:
Tuesday AND Wednesday 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
These evening sessions also focus entirely on hands-on training with your instructor, and you will attend both days.

💰 Tuition & Enrollment Fee
Tuition for the dental assistant academy program is $3,895. A registration fee of $150 (nonrefundable) is collected at enrollment to reserve your spot - our class size is limited to a maximum of 12 students. If you are not accepted or the class is full, you will be refunded the $150.

Starting a career as a dental assistant in Washington is an exciting opportunity! Here’s what you need to know:
Becoming a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Washington State is a great pathway to a stable and rewarding career in dentistry! Washington has clear registration requirements focused on education, safety, and professional readiness.
To become an RDA in Washington State, you must:
• Maintain current CPR (BLS) certification
• Complete required training in infection control and emergency procedures, as outlined by Washington State
• Submit a Registered Dental Assistant application to the Washington State Department of Health
• Complete a background check and pay applicable fees
There is no exam to pass to become an RDA in Washington. Registration is completed by submitting the required application and documentation to the Department of Health.
Once registered, RDAs in Washington may perform a broader range of clinical duties under the supervision of a licensed dentist. These duties may include chairside assisting, dental radiography, and direct patient care procedures.

While Aspire is not accredited by a national accrediting body, it’s important to know that accreditation is not necessary for dental assistant training programs in Washington. Accreditation is typically required for institutions that offer federal financial aid, such as Pell Grants or student loans. Since Aspire does not participate in federal financial aid programs, accreditation is not a requirement.

Our curriculum includes self-paced online lectures paired with in-person clinical training. To complete the program, students must pass four online tests (85% minimum) and one lab competency evaluation (90% minimum). Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in entry-level dental assisting roles.
