At Aspire Academy, our 12-week dental assistant training program is designed to meet industry demands, equipping you with the hands-on training, skills, and confidence needed to excel as an entry-level dental assistant. There is no externship after your 12 weeks.

At Aspire Academy, you can complete online self-paced lectures and attend on-site classes for dental assistant training on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM or evenings (see details below for evening hours). You have the flexibility to choose the schedule that fits your needs. The final schedule and location will be confirmed during your admissions meeting and cannot be changed after enrollment, ensuring you receive the hands-on training necessary for your career.

📚 Program Format
The Aspire Academy's dental assistant training program is 12 weeks long. Lectures, exams, and homework are all online and self-paced. You’ll watch pre-recorded weekly videos anytime during the week before attending your clinic class. You will choose to attend the Friday, Saturday OR the evening sessions, but not both.
Both locations: Saturday clinic days are 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute break, and are focused entirely on hands-on training with your instructor.
Havertown: Friday clinic days are 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute break, and are focused entirely on hands-on training with your instructor. Now you can select Friday OR Saturday as your day class option at our Havertown location.
Norristown: Evening clinic days are Tuesday AND Thursday from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM, focusing purely on hands-on training with your instructor.
Havertown: Evening clinic days are Thursday from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM AND Friday from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM, dedicated entirely to hands-on training with your instructor.

Tuition: $3,895
Registration fee: $150 (nonrefundable), collected at enrollment to reserve your spot - our class size is maxed at 12 students.

Please be aware that a $150 non-refundable application fee applies. If you need clarification on anything, especially regarding the hands-on training, please reach out to us before submitting your application.
Once your application to Aspire Academy has been reviewed, we will email you with next steps to complete your enrollment in our dental assistant training program. After your enrollment is finalized and your payment plan is in place, your spot in the class will be officially confirmed, ensuring you receive the hands-on training you need.

While Aspire is not accredited by a national accrediting body, it’s important to know that accreditation is not necessary for dental assistant training programs in Pennsylvania. Accreditation is typically required for institutions that offer federal financial aid, such as Pell Grants or student loans. Since Aspire does not participate in federal financial aid programs, accreditation is not a requirement.

Our program cost is competitive within the industry, and we require an initial payment of the $150 non refundable registration fee at the time of enrollment, with the remaining balance due before the first day of class or based upon your payment plan. At Aspire Dental Assistant Academy, our 12-week curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education that combines foundational knowledge with hands-on clinical experience. Our program is structured to guide students through essential topics, preparing them for a successful career in dental assisting.
Our curriculum includes self-paced online lectures paired with in-person clinical training. To complete the program, students must pass four online tests (85% minimum) and one lab competency evaluation (90% minimum). Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in entry-level dental assisting roles.
